Program Overview

  • Learning Tree is an after school program to continue your child’s development after school lets out in a safe and positive learning environment.

    Our focus is advancing your child’s cognitive growth using a thoughtfully curated curriculum spanning academic, artistic and athletic activities.

    Designed with the working parent in mind, we also offer transportation.

  • Currently, our after school program is designed for grades K-8.

    For private tutoring options for grades 6-12, please contact our office for more information.

  • Learning Tree After Schools’s goal is to continue your child’s enrichment process after school lets out in a fun, effective and intuitive way.

    Our objective is to stimulate your child's mind, nurture their creativity, and promote physical fitness using a carefully curated span of activities.

    With a focus on holistic development, we provide a safe and engaging environment where children can happily learn, grow, and thrive.

Enrollment

  • Please fill out and submit an application form here.

  • A standard application requires a $500 deposit to secure a spot for your child.

  • Learning Tree has rolling admissions with no specific enrollment deadline but space is limited and spots fill up quickly. However, if the program is full, we do maintain a waitlist.

  • Please contact us to confirm availability.

    Seats fill quickly on a first come first serve basis.

  • You will need the following:

    • Parent's information (name, contact info)

    • Any history of (learning) disabilities

    • Emergency contact info

    • Insurance information

Schedule

  • Learning Tree's office hours are from 11 AM - 6:30 PM PST.

    After-school program hours are from the end of school until 6:30 PM PST.

  • We are generally only closed on national holidays and weekends.

    Our after school program is open every weekday, including during summer camp.

    So, you can join us for fun activities every Monday to Friday all year round, except for those special holidays!

  • A standard schedule consists of:

    • Shuttle pickup from school

    • Academics: homework, exam prep, projects

    • Breaktime: fresh fruits / snacks / refreshments

    • Athletics, extracurricular activities or more academics

  • Currently, there is no morning pickup.

    Early drop offs are available on no school days starting at 7:30 AM.
    This service is included with the monthly tuition except for months that are prorated.

    Drop-in visitor pass students available for additional fee.

    If there's extra time, students can either get ahead in their studies or work on areas where they need extra help.

  • Our curriculum is tailored to your child's strengths and areas of improvement.

    First we discuss with parents to gain a deeper understanding of what would benefit their child most.

    Then, we create a plan to help your child grow in areas where they may struggle and to keep getting better in things they are already great at.

    This way, they get the support needed to grow and shine!

  • We work closely with you, the parents, to create a customized curriculum for their child.

    Together, we look at your child's strengths and areas for improvement to plan activities and focus areas that help them grow.

    This way, your child gets the support they need to succeed and flourish with us!

  • In addition to academics, our after school program is packed with fun and educational activities!

    We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities and enrichment programs, including music, athletics, arts and crafts, cognitive-based games, and foreign languages.

    There's something for everyone to enjoy and learn! Contact our office and see what is the latest rotation of activities.

Staff + Safety

  • All of our staff members are exclusively female college students with proven experience in education and exam preparation.

    They are dedicated to helping children learn and grow, and they have the transferable skills and knowledge to provide excellent support and guidance.

  • The safety of your child is our top priority.

    All our staff members are fingerprinted and undergo thorough background checks. This helps us make sure that everyone working in our program is qualified and trustworthy. You can have peace of mind knowing your child is in safe hands.

  • We take the safety and security of your children very seriously.

    We start by checking attendance from the moment they are picked up and continue with regular checks throughout the day.

    The Learning Tree facility is also secure with a security code entrance, so only authorized people can come inside.

Fees + Payment

  • Program fees are subject to change.

    Please contact the office for current tuition fee.

  • Yes, there can be some additional costs for our after school program.

    For example, fees for field trips, extracurricular activity supplies, etc.

    We notify in advance about any extra costs so you can plan accordingly.

  • You can pay the program fees in three easy ways:

    1. Zelle: Send your payment directly through the Zelle app.

    2. Check: Write a check and hand it to us at the school.

    3. Cash: Pay with cash when you drop off your child.

    Choose the method that works best for you!

Transportation

  • We offer transportation to and from the after school program for an additional fee.

    If you’d like to learn more about this service, please contact our office. We’re happy to help with any questions you have!

  • Student pick-up locations are based on the school they attend.

    For drop-off after the program, we use the student's home address to determine the most sensible location.

    This way, everyone gets safely to and from Learning Tree.

  • Yes! We offer a designated shuttle service for students who opt for transportation.

    Drivers prioritize attendance tracking and our shuttle ensures safe and convenient travel to and from our program, giving parents peace of mind knowing their child is in good hands.

Parent Updates

  • We've made staying connected easy!

    Parents can receive updates and messages conveniently through a user-friendly mobile app.

    Stay informed about your child's activities, upcoming events, and important announcements right at your fingertips.

    App installation and usage instructions provided upon enrollment.

  • We keep parents informed regularly about their child's progress!

    You can opt to receive updates through the app, emails, phone calls, or meetings with our staff as needed.

    We believe in open communication to ensure you're always in the loop about your child's wonderful experiences and achievements in our program.

  • Absolutely! Parents are generally welcome to volunteer their help where applicable.

    One common way parents can get involved is by supervising on field trips. This helps ensure there are plenty of adults around to keep everyone safe and having a great time!

    If you're interested in volunteering, just let us know – we'd love to have you join in.

Policies

  • Please let us know by, or before, 12pm on the day your child won't be attending.

    Please call or send us a message to inform us.

    This helps us plan for the children who will be joining us that day.

  • Please let us know by or before 12pm on the day of if your child will be absent or if you'll be running late for pick-up.

    This helps us plan and ensure your child's safety.

    Notifying us on time also helps avoid any fees associated with late notice. Thank you for your cooperation!

  • At Learning Tree After School program, we believe in being kind and respectful to everyone —whether it is fellow students, teachers, or staff.

    We expect all students to treat each other with kindness, listen to their teachers, and help create a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy!

  • If any issues that may involve disciplinary consequences arise, our team will have a discussion with the student, their parents, and our program director.

    Together, we'll work to understand the situation and find solutions that support everyone involved.

    We're committed to creating a positive and supportive environment for all our students.

Cancellation + Refunds

  • We require a 30-day notice if you plan to cancel your child's enrollment in our after school program.

    This helps us ensure a smooth transition and allows us to accommodate other families.

    Please let us know in advance if you need to make any changes—we're here to help!

  • If you need to withdraw your child, there are no penalties for early withdrawal. However, please note that we do not provide refunds for the period already paid for. Additionally, if you decide to withdraw without giving us a 30-day cancellation notice, the fees for that period will still apply.

  • We understand that unforeseen circumstances can happen.

    Refund exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to evaluation by our program team.
